Ballinrobe's Donal Vaughan
Ballinrobe GAA club is recognised as one of the most progressive GAA clubs in Mayo, with three adult teams, ten underage sides, and state-of-the-art floodlighting at Flanagan Park.
Ballinrobe's most famous player is Donal Vaughan. He has started at centre back in two All-Ireland football finals: the 2012 decider, which Mayo lost by 0-13 to 2-11 against Donegal and the 2013 decider, which Mayo lost by 1-14 to 2-12 against Dublin.
