Burren St Mary's GFC
Kevin McKernan
Founded in 1924 this very successful GAA club sits second in the roll of honour for Down senior titles behind Kilcoo.
1966 was the club's breakthrough year and they actually dominated the senior championship in the 1980's and even won two All Ireland Club titles in that period - 1986 and 1989.
They also won five Ulster club titles in that time - 1983, 1984, 1985, 1987, 1988.
