Coalisland Fianna Seniors

The club was founded in 1903. A meeting was held in the cellar of St. Patrick's Hall in Coalisland. After a long debate it was decided unanimously that Coalisland should start their own Gaelic Football team. It was the suggestion of Master Peter Kelly that the club adopt the name "Fianna", with that moment forward we became know as "Coalisland Fianna".

The club is third in the Tyrone roll of honour for senior county titles won with ten titles, the most recent in 2018.

The club's most famous player of recent times is the outstanding Padraig Hampsey. Padraig is a two time All Star, captained Tyrone to the All-Ireland in 2021 and will be long remembered for the leadership he showed in that victory.
