GAA club just outside Wexford Town, formed in 1885. Glynn Barntown has a long and proud history in both codes since their inception in 1886 providing a number of players to Wexfords last All-Ireland senior hurling success in 1996.
Needless to say, the future of any Club is backboned by the emergence of young players who are nurtured and trained by their adult members. On this front they have reason to be optimistic with success in recent times coming at underage level with county minor titles in both codes in 2009.
The senior footballers won the Wexford county title in 1996. They were promoted back to the senior ranks for 2016 afer winning the intermediate title in 2015.
