GAA club based in Rathnew County Wicklow. Club colours are red and green.

Rathnew is the most successful football club in Wicklow in terms of county titles won. They won the Leinster senior football title in 2001 beating Na Fianna of Dublin after a replay.

Rathnew have also won the Wicklow Senior Hurling Championship on eleven occasions in 1906, 1911, 1913, 1925, 1929, 1932, 1933, 1934, 1937, 1939, 1950

Two of the most notable players from the club in recent times are Leighton Glynn and Harry Murphy. Murphy won Leinster club with Rathnew in 2001 and also led the Wicklow side to seven senior football county titles during his 12-year tenure, including an impressive four consecutive titles from 2000-2003. After Kerry legend Mick O'Dwyer stepped down in the wake of defeat at the hands of Armagh, Murphy was appointed as the Wicklow senior football team on 29 August 2011.

Glynn had a fantastic career in both football and hurling. His personal achievements include - Vodafone Footballer of the Month: May 2008
