St Brigid's HC Westmeath
Naomh Brid (St BrigidÂ’s) Hurling Club was founded in 1954. The club colours are saffron and white.
The club turned Senior in 1965 and were defeated in the semi finals of 1966 and 1967.The glory days began in 1968 by winning a Senior title and by 1972 the club had four senior hurling titles to it's name.
Following the glory years there was a long period of decline including relegation to intermediate. However the club are now back competing in the senior division and the future look secure thanks to the investment in underage at the club.
